[CRI206] Accurate Measurement of the Cosmic Ray Proton Spectrum from 100TeV to 10PeV with LHAASO

LHAASO (Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory) is a composite cosmic ray observatory consisting of three types of detectors: KM2A, WCDA and WFCTA. One of the main scientific objectives of LHAASO is to accurately measure the cosmic ray spectrum and composition. With hybrid detection of WCDA and WFCTA, one can further study the “Knee” of CRs from 100TeV to 10PeV. The components of original cosmic rays can be effectively distinguished through the multi-parameter analysis or MVA. The energy reconstruction accuracy of primary proton is about 20% only relying on WFCTA. In this work, combined with the information of EAS core energy provided by WCDA, we hope an optimization of energy reconstruction accuracy.
