[CRD069] Fresh look at the propagation models in the light of AMS-02 data

  • Yoann GENOLINI

Primary authors

The eagerly awaited and freshly published AMS-02 data on the boron over carbon ratio (B/C) are decisive for the understanding of Galactic cosmic-rays propagation mechanisms. In turn, propagation models are a crucial ingredient for testing astrophysical scenarios as well as indirect dark matter searches. Based on the semi-analytical code USINE, we provide new benchmark propagation scenarios, unveiling physics details possibly missed in previous analyses. Theoretical uncertainties and limitations affecting the interpretation of the data will be highlighted. Opportunities for further progress based on forthcoming AMS-02 data will be discussed.
